1. What we collect

To provide the service we briefly handle the file you upload (only to compress it). We keep minimal telemetry — a timestamp, the file extension, and the compression ratio — and we do not record filenames or your IP address in our application logs. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email and message you provide.

2. Why we use it (purpose)

Solely to compress your file and to operate and secure the service. We do not use your files for any other purpose.

3. Retention & deletion

Uploaded files and their compressed outputs are automatically deleted shortly after processing (targeted within about 10 minutes). We do not keep your files. Contact-form messages are retained only as needed to respond.

4. Security & where we process

Traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS). Your file is processed in Canada and is protected under Canadian law while it is handled.

5. No selling, no third-party trackers

We do not sell your personal information. The site currently loads no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will ask for the consent this notice describes first.

6. Cross-border processing

If you are located outside Canada, the file you upload is transferred to and processed in Canada, and while there it is subject to Canadian law, including lawful access by Canadian courts or authorities. This applies wherever you are located. Files are automatically deleted after processing and are not retained.

7. Your rights

Where your specific region isn't determined, we apply our strictest standard: processing is on an opt-in basis, and you may request access, correction, and erasure, and withdraw consent at any time. Uploaded and compressed files are automatically deleted after processing. This service is not directed to children under 18.
